Bournemouth Reggae Weekender is thrilled to announce its partnership with Pink Ribbon Foundation, designating the esteemed charity organization as the Charity Partner for the upcoming event. The collaboration aims to raise awareness and support for breast cancer initiatives within the local community.
As part of the partnership, Bournemouth Reggae Weekender will generously donate 30% of ticket sales proceeds to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, furthering the organization’s mission of providing vital support to those affected by breast cancer.
Speaking about the partnership, Pink Ribbon Foundation Lisa J Allen
Head of Corporate Partnerships, PR and Events expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Pink Ribbon Foundation is delighted to partner with Bournemouth Reggae Weekender to raise awareness and money for those affected by breast cancer. The event will be a fabulous opportunity to spread awareness and promote the importance of self-checking, something that almost 50% of women in the UK don’t do regularly. We look forward to seeing everyone and also, to the amazing music on offer”.“
In alignment with their commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, Bournemouth Reggae Weekender’s Head of Marketing, Rachel Kasujja, shared her thoughts on the collaboration, saying, “Partnering with Pink Ribbon Foundation is a significant step for us in giving back to our community. By dedicating a portion of ticket sales to such a worthy cause, we hope to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.”
Bournemouth Reggae Weekender is set to take place from 26th July – 28th July, promising attendees an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and philanthropy. With Pink Ribbon Foundation on board as the Charity Partner, the event aims to not only entertain but also educate and empower individuals in the fight against breast cancer.
