Can you help Afro Disiac, a local Internet Radio Station to continue to provide diverse, cultural enrichment to our community in Bournemouth and beyond? 

Here at Afro Disiac Live Radio CIC a Non-Profit we are extremely proud to be hosting the Bournemouth Reggae Weekender for the third time, which will take place from 28th- 30th July 2023 at Kings Park. 

Our unique and popular event brings people from across our whole community together with an emphasis on African-Caribbean culture, style and heritage, to celebrate diversity through the enjoyment and love of live reggae music, wholesome Afro-Caribbean food and fun activities for all the family. 

While we have already been successful at getting some partners on board who have generously donated time and funds to help us get off the ground, we are still struggling to fund some vital elements of our event that we need to make it a success. Like including a free travel system for attendees to access the festival and making it accessible to some Care homes where our elders don’t have access to come to the festival. 

We believe your support will be absolutely crucial in helping us to bring the community together for such a unique experience of entertainment, diversity and celebration that is both educational and fun! An event like ours – we are sure you can agree, will give people a much-needed boost, especially after the last few years of lockdowns and covid.

Would you consider donating to help us achieve our goal of spreading love and peace whilst bringing cohesion to our community by supporting our Reggae Weekender Event? 

Here is how a gift from you could help make all the difference to the 5000 people who could benefit from this wonderful event.

£50 – Will help us to get water to the site 
£100 – Supports 10 volunteers to man the festival site 
£500 – Will fund the funfair for our young ones to access free
£1500 – Will pay for the cost of the venue that we need to hire from BCP council

The Bournemouth Reggae Weekender is Bournemouth’s biggest Reggae in the park event!! Last year we had over 5k attendees/families come to our celebrations and raised £1000 for Prostate Cancer awareness as well as receiving support from BCP Council, ASDA, Unison and Dorset Police. With your help, we can make this event even bigger and better!
